Sure has been a while...

Well... As you can tell I have been a very busy girl... Haven't been on my blog in a while, trust me I am working on it. It's just so hard right now to manage my time; work and sleep have consumed me. Now, we are being forced to move and it's work, sleep AND packing. I am doing all the packing... don't feel sorry or ask why I am not getting help... here's my reason: I won't have to move =) LOL! I do have to unpack because everything I am packing has a place and purpose. The downside to all of this, we still haven't found a new place. In time we will, but we ony have until May. We for sure will be out sooner.

I also have put looking for another job on the back burner until we find a place because at the moment, that's more important. BUT I did come to a grand conclusion. I had sent out a whole bunch of resumes, and did not hear from any of the place, which I found very odd... turns out, the program I was using for my resume, Open Office, wasn't being saved properly... NEEDLESS TO SAY, I either needed to get my hands on the Microsoft Office program OR freakin save the resume the right way... I opted to get my hands on the Office program. As I type, thanks to Yamo, we now have Office on this computer and I couldn't be more excited! You have no idea... AND it was FREE =)

I don't really have much more to say at this point, but I am going to update you guys with pictures... ENJOY!

Day 50: So every time I go to Target, I always make my way to the sock section and purchase a pair of socks for $1. These were the socks I rocked to league =) [February 27, 2011]

Day 51: Loving this shirt I bought from Target. I saw the yellow and well I love quotes, although it's not a qutoe, it still means something. [February 28, 2011]

Day 52: Will came home and said he wasn't feeling too well, that he was supe cold and his head was hurting. He had league that night and opted to bowl in his long john's. I had to catch this moment...Little did I know, the next day I would take him to the ER and find out he has Pneumonia [March 1, 2011]

Day 53: I bought this collage frame, dry erase board from Bed Bath & Beyond for 75% off [I still have one picture to go]. I came home to this on my bed. There's a note [my whol;e intentions of this board] from Will[March 2, 2011]

Day 54: I bought a box of oatmeal from Costco because I was getting a tad tired of eating just sandwiches on my lunch. Yummy Maple & Brown Sugar [March 3, 2011]

Day 55: Carne Asada Nachos from La Villa...BOMB! [March 4, 2011]

Day 56: One of my co-workers came to work with cookies and another wanted some, but couldn't leave work to go get them. I went and got them and he bought me a box for going =) Frozen Thin Mints are THE best! [March 5, 2011]



Day 57: Jeremy won money at Tournment Club and he said he'd treat Will and I to dinner. We went to Joey's in Manhattan Beach. Turned out to be quite the funniest dinner ever... the guy thought Jeremy was treating his parents! LOL This pulled pork sandwich was DELICIOUS[March 6, 2011]

Day 58: This was THE start to my MAJOR sweet tooth [March 7, 2011]

Day 59: Lasers - Lupe Fiasco. Will gave me a coopy AND I LOVE the inside! [March 8, 2011]

Day 60: I purchased this on CLEARANCE at Target, of course, and pulled it out of my drawer for inspiration. [March 9, 2011]

Day 61: My hands have been itching and burning because of the soap at work... this was my last resort [March 10, 2011]

Day 62: I went to wash clothes and when I was putting my basket into the car, I hit this part in the back of my passenger seat, this little bump, is the result. Man did it hurt. SN: still does! [March 11, 2011]

Day 63: Will finished his tattoo in honor of his grandmother Gloria [March 12, 2011] 

Day 64: Dinner at The Counter with Matt Jones, his friend, Lesia, Jerry, and Will. I went to the bathroom and this was the sign... LOL the woman is sitting down! That's classic! [March 13, 2011]

Day 65: My favorite "to go" ice cream [as opposed to the ice cream scoops]. I had this in honor of my friend Tina's birthday =) [March 14, 2011]

Day 66: They spelled Jeremy's name wrong AGAIN at league LOL [March 15, 2011]

Day 67: I couldn't wait to wear these socks to league... and they were PINK! SN: I went back and bought a pair with blue and I am rockin' them as I type =) [March 16, 2011]

Day 68: Our FREE GREEN shake [on the right] from The Counter. They had a deal, that if you "Liked" their Facebook page and showed them, you'd receive a free green shake... twas a good dinner... Plus this picture is even funnier because we got there like 5 minutes before they closed. Will called us "the last minute bandits" [March 17, 2011]

Day 69: I cut myself on one of the registers at work. The cut doesn't look big, but hurt and stung more than you know. My boss said to put super glue on it and I let him do it... He put TOO much and they got a little stuck together [March 18, 2011]

Day 70: I went to Panda, while Will was at work because he hates when I want that. This was my fortune [March 19, 2011]

Day 71: Too cute![March 20, 2011]

Day 72: Kevin Yamo scored 95 points for SMARTIES against me in Wods with Friends [March 21, 2011]

Day 73: Bacon HAM Bravo with cucumbers and avocados... My altered Bacon Turkey Bravo because I don't like turkey.  [March 22, 2011]

Day 74: I'm half there... sort of... My black TRAINER hat...just waiting on the name tag [March 23, 2011]

Day 75: Target trip with Star and Leilani. We put bunny ears on her and she gave me a smile with my first attempt at taking a picture <3 [March 24, 2011]

Day 76: Bought a big pack of gum from Costco so that I could relieve stress from work, by chewing gum... Definitely helped and made me more of a chain gum chewer [March 25, 2011]

Day 77: Will and his partner Cora at the PCB Doubles Tournament at Yorba Linda Bowl... she's one funny woman! [March 26, 2011]

Lucky. [It's a long one]

Well aren't you guys lucky... nothing better to do than update you all on week 7 of my project. It's funny, I was thinking that time sure does fly when you take a picture a day, no joke. I feel like I just started this and I am already on day 50! No picture for today yet, but I figured, since I am off today and at work with Will, it's the perfect time to update the pictures so that I won't fall too behind... this week =)

I was also thinking, I do need to blog more, but I figure if I am updating you guys with pictures, you'd see, just a little, of what's going on in my life...

Work is stressful [yes I know it's a job], but I am starting to wonder if it's actually worth this stress. Me being the type of person I am, looked up "unnecessary stress in the workplace" on Google and found that it is most definitely not good for your health...Of course, now I am more paranoid than ever because I don't want anything serious to happen to my health, while working at Panera. Now when I was hired, the manager was totally aware that this would only be temporary because of me having a degree. I really don't want temporary to turn into YEARS. One good thing has came out of working there [probably more than I am mentioning, but you'll see my point], but mt hard work was FINALLY noticed...In reference to a previous blog, I said I had good news to share... The good news is Arisha was promoted to TRAINER! Yeah! It comes with a black hat, a nifty name tag, and some coins added to the little I make already. Mind you, I've only been working there since the end of October. With all this good, there's too much drama, with employees and the amazingly dumb [sorry to say, it's true] customers. I know things will get better, it just feels like something I heard before, things have to get worse before they get better... or something like that. Sorry for my little work vent; there's more to it, I just tried to give a little gist of it...

LOL if it's not one thing, it's another... What I think is funny about the whole stressful situation at work, things with Will and I going great <3

I don't really have much else to share, so here's my week in pictures...

Week 7:

Day 43: We waited at the Valet, before leaving Laughlin, for over an hour. This guy suggested, since we saw our car, to stand near it so they think we're stealing it... so Jeremy went, but that didn't last long -- security made him move [February 20, 2011] 

Day 44: I was totally a bumb, until Star left for work. When Will had came home, he told me he missed me all day, while he was at work. It seriously feels great that someone you love, more specific your significant other, comes home and tells you they miss you. This is before we went to sleep that night <3 [Febraury 21, 2011]

Day 45: On Friday, my buddy Candice Williams, who is pregnant, posted that in 10 months she hasn't wanted alcohol, but wanted a good margarita with salt and for someone to drink one for her. I got around to doing so... boy was this thing strong! [February 22, 2011]

Day 46: After 4 days off I am back to work. Sergio, apparently hurt his finger and the manager said he couldn't work unless it was wrapped... this is the finished product: glove, JAVA JACKET, and scotched tape! [February 23, 2011]

Day 47: At my mom's [if you only knew why] and Lady [the dog] loves her some Will [February 24, 2011]

Day 48: After being at Panera for over 12 hours, I needed to stop at Costco to pick up my pictures and to get a few other necessities =) [February 25, 2011]

Day 49: Jeremy has a goal... to make it in 150 of these photo, and he's well on his way. He put on my work shoes, thinking they were Matt's and said he had small feet... crazy boy! [February 26, 2011]

Man I am sleepy now... It was great "sleeping in" until 5, but I most definitely could've slept longer. This is all for now <3 Have a good one! 

My Bad, My Bad...

Yikes! My goal is to update you guys weekly on my 365 Day Project, if nothing else and I have been slipping... I must say though, it's a pretty fun project =) I am loving thinking of things to take pictures of or just getting lucky =)


Week 5:

Day 29: Super Bowl Sunday at the Yamo's Residence... Bacon Wrapped Lil' Smokies!!! Yummy in the tummy! [February 6, 2011]

Day 30: This has got to be one of my new favorite shirts. I love the Flinstones and can rarely find something for an "adult"... I lucked out in the Junior section at Kohl's and HAD to make this purchase =) [February 7, 2011]

Day 31: Went to wash clothes with Star and decided that it was time to wash our comforter... I LOVE having a clean, fresh smelling bed! [February 8, 2011]

Day 32: Washington, our Manager's, birthday celebration... Miriam, one of our shift supervisers, was having a little too much fun with the "killer knives" [February 9, 2011]

Day 33: I went to pick Star up from work at almost 10 at night... this is me DEAD STOPPED on the 710 freeway... had to take a picture! [February 10, 2011]

Day 34: My head's been hurting lately and this has gotten me through this particular week... The gum, has kept me sane! [February 11, 2011]

Day 35: Sergio, a co-worker, needs a hair cut... don't you think? LOL [February 12, 2011]

Week 6:

Day 36: After our Valentine's Dinner at Reb Lobster. I love when pictures come out wrong, but look so good =) [February 13, 2011]

Day 37: I had a coupon for 40% off a book at Borders and I wanted to take advantage =) I bought these books for my reading pleasure for the upcoming weekend in Laughlin [February 14, 2011]

Day 37: LOL Jeremy's last name is wrong! [February 15, 2011]

Day 39: This little tree is in the front of our place... looks better with the blossoms <3 [February 16, 2011]

Day 40: This was after 10 days of work and a 2 hour meeting meeting later, this is what I left to see... the sun set [February 17, 2011]

Day 41: This sign is on the way to Laughlin...last year, it freaked Will out a little... so this year I had to take the picture [February 18, 2011]

Day 42: We went to see "No Strings Attached" and after we saw it, there were pop corn tubs and Will STOLE it!!!! [February 19, 2011]

This is where it ends because my week isn't over... not so much detail this time, but I still love them <3

As Promised...

Like anyone actually cares, lol, here's my updated pics from my 365 Day Project, if you haven't seen it on Facebook alrady... Here's week 4...

Day 22: This is our recap from our Sunday night league at Midtown...WE LOST TO 2 HANDICAP BOWLERS!!! Needless to say our averages will be going down [January 30, 2011]

Day 23: My back brake light was out and this is the result of ME vs. THE BROKEN BULB...Obviusly, I lost [January 31, 2011]

Day 24: My car was on E... I was literally scared I wouldn't make it home... I did! When my car has a full tank of gas, I feel SOOOO much better [February 1, 2011]

Day 25: The new edition to my extended family... My Aunt Misty welcomed Baby Aubrey into the world on her parent's 45th Wedding Anniversary... it's also the day before her big brother's [pictured] birthday [February 2, 2011]

Day 26: So Jeremy is CRAZY... he wrote the letters "J" and "G" on my car because he said he was going to get that tatted on his arms... you'd have to see it in person, but it's pretty funny... dance and all [February 3, 2011]

Day 27: EVERY Friday, a father comes in with his daughter and he orders her a WHIPPED CREAM WITH A SMIDGE OF HOT CHOCOLATE =) I had to take a picture this time [February 4, 2011]

Day 28: By far THE funniest thing that has happened between Matt and his daughter Leilani. He was changing her poopy diaper and the smell was so bad, he said "Time out" and went to grab his girlfriend's pajama pants and tied them around his face to guard the STANK...LOL... Shortly after he was done changing her, she peed on him, well their bed; big puddle! [February 5, 2011]

Dr's Appointments and What Not.

So I had every intentention of updating you guys with the 4th week of my project today, but I have no more time. I uploaded and caught up on my Facebook, but the internet speed, and my details will not let me post. I must leave Starbucks in about 15 minutes, to make it to the doctor on time. I am walking there.

Staying Positive

This year, I feel sort of like a new person... What I mean by that is that I need to be more positive... So far, the year has been great, despite a little lapse on the home front, but that's a little personal. Let me tell you, working at Panera has really made me stressed, and I haven't even worked there as long as Will and Krischna. Sad thing to say, but man it is true. This is a stress I don't need though. I am not trying to have it damage my health, more than it already is. Anyway... Last week was one CRAZY/BUSY week at work. Each day got worse... yes, WORSE. This week I hoped for better and it is what I got... Yesterday, on the other hand, was INSANE, but it was my time to REALLY shine and shine I did =) More news on that later.

As I blog right now, on my day off, I am sitting at the Panera Will works at. He's leaving early and has tournament club today so I came with him. Gave me time to do a little blogging and time to upload my pics [below].

Before I share the pics, I just wanted to add that this project I am doing is really making me happy. Also, it really was a trying week for me and it was brought to my attention that I need to do things for me; read, write... just something... One of my goals this year is to fill my picture frames. Now I am going to write more, in a journal though, and try and scrapbook my 365 Day Project. This blog is pretty short, but I didn't know what to say, but I have 2 weeks of pics to update you guys with more detail than I give on Facebook...So I guess it's not THAT short =) Until next time... have a good one

Week 2:

Day 8: I have been craving Chipotle, well mainly some good guacamole, and Will texted me when he was off asking me if I wanted some... Heck yeah I did! [January 16, 2011]

Day 9: My little brother, from elementary school, Ricardo, gave me a professional massage as a late birthday gift. It was a little weird, but VERY necessary. [January 17, 2011]

Day 10: I baked these bagels at work. Man did they look good! Top Row - Chocolate Chip; Middle Row - Jalapeno Cheddar; and Bottom Row - French Toast. [January 18, 2011] 

Day 11: I made spaghetti and tuna casserole for dinner the night before. Yes 2 separate dinners, but just understand that Will is one picky boy and I just knew he wasn't going to eat the tuna. Anyway, the next day, Jeremy asked if he could have some and this is what he served himself! LOL [January 19, 2011] 

Day 12: So this baby contraption doesn't look right. she looks huge and I don't think it's supposed to look like this. LOL, Star was like, "the flower's on her belly!" So I had to take a picture and share. [January 20, 2011] 

Day 13: I stopped by Krischna's house on the way home from work and she asked me to join her grocery shopping. She was doing Kayln's hair and to keep her occupied I was making faces at her. This is one of the many she made for me. Oh how I love my Boog's face <3 [January 21, 2011]

Day 14: Like I mentioned, my week was pretty stressful and I am not one to drink. Not saying I don't drink, just saying I am not big on it. I really felt like having a drink, but I couldn't do it. I did however, break my streak and caved in and had Will bring me a Pepsi from work. I hadn't had soda in a little over a year, but desperate times called for it. The left drink is an Iced Chai and it's so bomb from Torrance [January 22, 2011]

Week 3: 

Day 15: Matt Jones owed me TWO birthday dinners [one from last year and this year]...Last year's birthday was knocked out at The Jazz Kitchen in Downtown Disney. This place was DELICIOUS! I ate the BBQ Shrimp and Grits. OMG! AMAZING! [January 23, 2011]

Day 16: With my "thriving" Avon, LOL, I needed some Post-it's and Star offered to get me some when she went to the .99 Cent Store. I told her I didn't want yellow and she came back with these. I thought it was funny and thought of Matt Jones, being a Gator fan and all =) [January 24, 2011]

Day 17: This is Willis the Bear. He was given to me by Will in 2007 for our Anniversary. He helped me sleep this week. Him and his heartbeat. When Will had given it to me, he said "Squeeze it" and I felt/heard it. He then said "I put that there because you like laying on my chest and listening to my heartbeat" <3 [January 25, 2011]

Day 18: I came home to an empty house. Turns out the roomies went to get tatted up and this is what Star got. I think it's so cool. I am still a little too chicken to get one, and if I finally gather up the courage, I don't know what, nor where I would get it, but still I love hers. So pretty =) [January 26, 2011]

Day 19: She had "Bed Head" or should I say "Couch Head" and everytime, before taking this pic, she would smile. Too bad when I grabbed tha camera and started taking pics, she wouldn't smile lol. [January 27, 2011] 

Day 20: Will had came home, took out his hair, had evey intention of washing, blowdrying, and getting it braided, but plopped on the bed and said he was comfortable and was going to sleep like this... Yeah, and I am the bed hog! [January 28, 2011]

Day 21: While mommy and daddy are at work, I look after Leilani. She was laying on the couch and kicked off the shoe on her left foot. I left it off and then I noticed that her shoe was on the WRONG foot. That's how daddy dressed her I guess LOL [January 29, 2011]



25 & a New Year

So I turned 25 and ACTUALLY had a good day =) I feel overworked and underpaid, but who doesn't? The reason for my post is to share with you how my 365 Day Project is going...

Week 1:

Day 1: My Birthday Sundae from Lazy Dog Cafe in Torrance [January 9, 2011]

Day 2: After graduating in 2009, I finally ordered/received my Degree Holder [January 10, 2011]

Day 3: Orange Juice got me through my little cold, the birthday gift from Mother Nature [January 11, 2011]

Day 4: I see the iPhone in my future... Also, my condolences go out to those who lost their jobs at MySpace; I was let go in 2009 [January 12, 2011]



Day 5: My birthday gift from Candice <3; I absolutely LOVED it...I say LOVED because I discovered a hole [that I didn't put] in it ='( [January 13, 2011]

Day 6: For those who know me, I think that pictures of people sleeping, sometimes, is very cute...they on the other hand may disagree =) This is Jason, AKA Mr. Eubanks, he was at our place, and of course, fell asleep first! [January 14, 2011]

Day 7: Mr. Eubanks on the left & Jeremy on the right... both playing Angry Birds on their phones...from what I hear, it's a pretty addicting game; I personally, don't get it LOL  [January 15, 2011]
